The French macaron also known as the Parisian macaron, is a delicate and delicious treat that has captured the hearts of many. One of the reasons for the macaron's popularity is its unique texture. Made of two delicate shells that sandwich a filling of buttercream, ganache, or jam. The shells are made from a mixture of ground almonds, sugar, and egg whites and are typically flavoured with vanilla, chocolate, or other flavours. The result is a cookie that is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - with a delicate and delicious flavour.
